ROMANISED celebrated new successes with his first crop of runners, including a 1-2 at Saint-Cloud, France on October, 14. Bred by SCEA des Prairies, Ecurie de Castillon, SAS IEI and Devin, PARAMECIUM broke his maiden tag over 1,400 meter, edging out Mrs. G. Neveux-bred STORIA DI ROMA by a short head in second place. Adding to the celebration, two-year-old DUTY, bred by Robert NG, broke his maiden tag over the 1,000 meter of Le Mans, France on October, 16.
WOODED was also in the spotlight on October 18, as his two-year-old FOUR FOUR FOUR clinched his maiden tag at Lyon-Parilly, France. Bred by Jedburgh Stud and C. Humphris, he made his mark at second asking.
MEHMAS claimed a double of two-year-old winners on October, 15 in two different countries. BILLY THE DEEP broke his maiden tag over 1,000 meter at Milano, Italy with our homebred SELENIEN posted his second career-win over 1.500 meter at Chantilly, France. Entrusted to Didier Guillemin, he was ridden to success by Cristian Demuro.
MEHMAS’s success was not confined to the younger generation. Three-year-old LADY NUNTHORPE earned her first victory at Southwell, UK, on October 17, while five-year-old MEHSMERISE triumphed at Jägersro, Sweden.
Our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL and OLYMPIC GLORY joined the danse on October, 14 at Saint-Cloud, France, starting with ZELZAL’s DRIMYS who posted a second career-win for breeders Bnne ML. Van Dedem and P. Joyaux. OLYMPIC GLORY’s BOZZO recorded his fourth career-victory a moment later over 1,600 meter for Gousserie Racing.
AL WUKAIR ended the week by congratulating ALCANOR in Italy when reaching first the 1,800 meter of Milano racecourse.
