Al Shaqab Stallion ARMOR, standing at Haras de Bouquetot, made a strong impression at the Osarus Yearling Sale, achieving the session's top price with his sole representative. Lot 17, a striking colt out of the Zafeen mare Zabriska, was sold for €34,000. Consigned by Haras de Montaigu, the colt was purchased by trainer Kevin Tavares.

Tavares shared his enthusiasm with Jour de Galop:

"We spotted this colt yesterday based on his conformation. He's a good mover and by a young sire I’m quite fond of, Armor. I find his progeny stand out—they look early types. I tried to buy one at the v.2 sale but missed out, so I’m really pleased to have secured this one, and I’m also very happy for his new owner."

Over the two days of sales, ARMOR was only surpassed by another Al Shaqab stallion, TORONADO, whose filly sold for €40,000 to John Hammond, making her the overall top price of the sale.
