Carrousel of Stakes performances for our stallions and colors

New Stakes performances celebrated for our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallions OLYMPIC GLORY and TORONADO, including a 5th individual blacktype winner worldwide for OLYMPIC GLORY. In Germany at Baden-Baden racecourse, his three-year-old daughter WILD GLORIA scored in the Listed Diana-Trial over 9 furlongs on her second start only, while four-year-old WALDERSEE finished runner-up in the 1,200 meters Listed Silberne Peitsche on May, 29.

Listed winner five-year-old son of TORONADO BOIS D’ARGENT grabbed a closed third place in the 1,600 meters Listed Prix de Montretout at ParisLongchamp, France on May, 26 for breeder Elevage de Bourgeauville. Our dual G1 winner stallion collected at least a winner per day this week, starting with two-year-old FREAKY FRIDAY breaking his maiden tag down-under at Ballarat, Australia on May, 23. Three-year-old BOB LA BIDOUILLE opened his winning account at first asking the following day at Saint-Cloud, France for breeder SARL Darpat France and WILD CHAP was once again honored in Australia over the 1,550 meters of Canterbury racecourse on May, 25. Six-year-olds MON OURAGAN and PRISONER’S DILEMMA proved best in two different countries on May, 27 with MON OURAGAN offering a third consecutive success to his breeders Framont Limited, M. Matthew and M. Beaumont and PRISONER’S DILEMMA getting the best of his rivals at Fairyhouse, GB. Last of the serie was PEEKABOO who claimed a victory at Istanbul, Turkey on May, 29.


New Stakes winner for SHALAA from his headquarters at Arrowfield Stud in Australia with his three-year-old SIAM PARAGON landing the Listed Prix Pontarme at ParisLongchamp, France, his third success offered to his breeder M. Almahmoud.


Owned in partnership with Ballylinch Stud, PLACE DU CARROUSEL followed up her Group 3 victory by a strong second place in the G1 Prix Saint-Alary at ParisLongchamp, France on May, 29 with a beautiful effort in the home straight. Second Stakes performances of the week under our colors was courtesy of homebred SUBAHIYAH who was placed second in the Listed 166è Derby du Midi at Bordeaux Le Bouscat, France on May, 28 under the ride of Cristian Demuro and the training of Jean-Claude Rouget. Bred at Haras de Bouquetot, she is a daughter of G3-placed Gherdaiya. Our colors were also carried to victory this week overseas courtesy of BALHAMBAR who broke his maiden over 10 furlongs on May, 27 at Chepstown, UK on his third outing. Entrusted to Sir Michael Stoute, he was ridden by Richard Kingscote.


Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS celebrated three successes with his three-year-olds, starting with Randolf Stevens Limited-bred THE COVEX KID grabbing his second consecutive win of the season at Lingfield, UK on May, 24. Tally-Ho Stud-bred MAS PODER followed the lead when opening his winning account at Pontefract on May, 27, in the UK. In France, B. Bedhomme, Mlle M. Nyk, P. Ricca and T. Babbrielleschi-bred DEJA VUE displayed all her talent to win at Toulouse on May, 26.

MEHMAS' two-year-old BELIEVING opened her winning account on her second start only at Wolverhampton, UK on May, 23 for breeders M. Mullen and Cloneymore Farm and SAMARA BAY ended the weekly round of successes at Goteborg, Sweden on May, 29.


Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL congratulated the victory of three-year-old J’ACCLAME at ParisLongchamp, France, the Haras de Saint-Voir bred opening his winning account in a 1,600 meters handicap race on May, 29.
