MEHMAS continued his outstanding serie with his juveniles, highlighted by the commanding victory of AESTERIUS in the G3 Prix d’Arenberg at ParisLongchamp on September, 02. Already a Listed winner in England, S. Maguire’s two-year-old now impresses as a Group winner in France. AESTERIUS could either target the G1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp or the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.

Our Tally-Ho Stud resident sire also recorded three doubles in a single week, starting on August 28 with victories from six-year-old ASTIMEGOESBY and two-year-old SOLAR BIRICZ. Bred by Michael O’Mahony, ASTIMEGOESBY secured another win in Spain, while the Declan Lyons-bred SOLAR BIRICZ broke his maiden by more than two lengths at Musselburgh, UK.

The success continued on August, 29 overseas with two-year-olds NORTHERN TICKER and GEO coming home first at Carlisle and Newbury respectively. Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, NORTHERN TICKER landed his second win from three starts, while Epona Bloodstock-bred GEO broke his maiden tag by 1-length. Two-year-olds BAROSSA VALLEY and WHEELS OF FIRE followed the same path when both scoring on September, 1st at Klampenborg, Danemark and Lingfield, UK respectively. Bred by Con Marnane, WEELS OF FIRE broke his maiden tag under our colors.

On the same racecourse of Lingfield, UK, CREATIVE LADY was the last juvenile of MEHMAS winning serie to lose her maiden tag on August, 27 on her third start for Rabbah Bloodstock Limited.

 

OLYMPIC GLORY rounded off August with a double of winners on August, 29. DANCING IN PARIS secured his fourth career win in a handicap at Southwell, UK for Thierry de la Heronnière and all., while DORICO claimed victory in a 1,750-meter handicap at Corridonia, Italy for breeder Ecurie des Charmes.

 

Our Haras de Bouquetot-based sire GALILEO GOLD and AL WUKAIR kicked off September successfully. GALILEO GOLD was represented by two-year-old BULNES in Spain over the 1,500 meters of San Sebastian while AL WUKAIR's CURARO LIGHT defeated his rivals in Italy to win a handicap race over the 2,100 meters of Varese.
