Listed winner earlier in the month, two-year-old AESTERIUS step up once again in class to finish close runner-up in the G3 Molecomb Stakes on July, 31 at Goodwood, UK. Bred by Sean Maguire, he is now a dual Stakes performer out of four starts. Our Tally-Ho Stud’s resident was also represented during the prestigious Goodwood Festival by consistent G1-placed BELIEVING who finished third in the G2 King George Stakes on August, 2 for breeders M. Mullen and Cloneymore Farm.
Our stallion recorded a collection of new juveniles heroes to start August, with unbeaten ESTEPONA securing a second consecutive win at Deauville, France on August, 1st for Cuadra Mediterraneo. The following day on the other side of the Channel sea, Rabbah Bloodstock Limited-bred NORTHERN TICKER broke his maiden tag by 5-lengths at Newcastle on his second start only and South House Stud-bred ARTAGNAN opened his winning account in a handicap race at Goodwood. In Germany, two-year-olds DHITJARI and GRACIA claimed respectively the first and the third place of the 1,300 meters Großer Preis Der Cölner Hofbräu Früh on August, 3rd at Koln.
MEHMAS' three-year-olds joined the dance, starting with ARTFUL APPROACH and MONASTERBOICE who were both successful at Galway, Ireland. Bred by Tally-Ho Stud, the first named opened his winning account on July, 29 while Sarah McNicholas-bred MONASTERBOICE secured his second consecutive win on July, 31. Last of the serie was URGE TO MERGE who posted a new victory on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean at Gulfstream Park, USA on August, 3rd.
WOODED recorded a new first-crop winner in pleasing style courtesy of WOODY who broke his maiden tag on July, 30 at Deauville, France on his second start only for breeders E. Chevrier and X. Malaviolle.
First-crop sire ROMANISED followed the same successful path with two-year-old FRUITION who opened her winning account on August, 3rd over the 1,200 meters of Pompadour, France.
Our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL was represented this week in the USA courtesy of three-year-old KETONIA who made a huge move to win easily at Del Mar on August, 2.
AL WUKAIR’s double of scorers in a day to start the new month, starting with three-year-old SWEET DREAMS who broke his maiden tag at Pompadour, France on August, 3 for T. Jeffroy and Ecurie de Castillon. A few moment later in Czech Republic, MARANELLO ROSSO was crossing the finish line first at Parbudice racecourse.
