MEHMAS continued to rack up victories with his three-year-olds across the Channel, starting with ELEFTHERIA who made a victorious return to competition on March 14 at Chelmsford for breeder Wardstown Stud Ltd. Two days later, MAMALOUKA notched her second consecutive victory by 3 lengths and third career-win at Wolverhampton for Joseph and Adrian Reid.
GALILEO GOLD has been maintaining the same pace from Haras de Bouquetot’s headquarters, congratulating three-year-olds COCO MY LOVE and FIVECROMWELLPLACE for their respective successes. The former triumphed on March, 14 in a handicap race over 1,900 meters at Roma, Italy, while FIVECROMWELLPLACE broke his maiden tag on his seasonal comeback at Dundalk, Ireland on March, 15 for Billy and Paul McEnery. A regular on Italian podiums, ever-consistent RED BOURBON claimed once again victory over the 1,200 meters of Pisa.
ZELZAL recorded a victory by 10 lengths at Saint-Cloud, France on March,14 with Ecurie Ades Hazan and Mrs. K. Morice-bred SHORT FINAL posting an eye-catching second career-win in a handicap race over 1,400 meters.
AL WUKAIR was represented internationally courtesy of three-year-old KURINO ADVANCE who broke his maiden tag in Japan on March,15 at Chukyo. In France, our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion congratulated PASIPHAE on March,15 when defeating her 12 rivals at Lyon-La Soie while WUKHANN came home first in a 2,400 meters handicap race at Saint-Cloud on March, 16. The former was bred by Mr. Bollack-Badel, Ecurie Noel Forgeard and P. Lamy, while WUKHANN was a second time winner for Fabrice Vermeulen and Madame L. Louis.
