Haras de Bouquetot-based G1 sprint winner sire WOODED is off the mark with his two-year-olds courtesy of our homebred NEW WAY BABY who broke her maiden tag by two lengths at Evreux, France on his second start only. Bred at Haras de Bouquetot in partnership with SCEA des Prairies, our filly entrusted to Edouard Monfort and ridden by Dorian Provost became the first two-year-old winner of our sire by Wootton Bassett.
ZELZAL continues his impressive streak of Stakes performances with TAWAG’s success in the Listed Premio Bereguardo-Trofeo Sirlad over the mile at Milan, Italy on his second attempt at the highest level. The three-year-old bred by G. Rosati Colarieti recorded his sixth career-win.
GALILEO GOLD celebrated a new Group performance in Ireland courtesy of Group winner and multiple Stakes performer GOLDANA who was narrowly beaten in the G2 Lanwades Stud Stakes on May, 26 at Curragh, Ireland, for Patrick Grogan. GOLDEN TEMPLE crossed the finish line first a few days apart, with the Helen Smith & Sally Mullen's representative securing her first career victory.
MEHMAS continues to notch new victories overseas with his juveniles from his quarters at Tally-Ho Stud, counting on AESTERIUS and MISS COLLADA this week. The former broke his maiden tag on his debuts at Bath on May, 24 for breeder Sean Maguire, while MISS COLLADA secured her first win the following day at Salisbury for Kocollada Partnership.
Our Haras de Bouquetot-based ROMANISED also recorded new victories with his two-year-olds, undefeated O SOLE MIO adding to his tally a second consecutive win at Dax, France on May, 20 for breeders RY Simon, N Simon, and M. Mechineau.
AL WUKAIR congratulated new two-year-old winners from his quarters at Haras de Bouquetot. D. Bouquil, F. Guy, and Mme J. Soubagne-bred THE BLACK SKY made successful debuts over the 1,200 meters of Bordeaux-Le Bouscat, France on May 16, while CALAS and MARLOWE scored a 1-2 in a handicap race at Saint-Cloud, France, on May 14. Bred by The Buck Racing, CALAS recorded his second career win.
Our stallion completed another double of winners on May, 20 with the success of three-year-old PRINCESS BADEE over the 2,200 meters of Hanover, Germany, and the second career-victory of VALWUGREEN over the 2,400 meters of Moulins, France for breeder J. Gilbert. Three-year-old ANNA LINDA added a new update to the international collection by successes by defeating her 11 rivals over 2,300 meters in Rome, Italy.
OLYMPIC GLORY registered successes on both sides of the planet, with DANCING IN PARIS securing a three-lengths victory on May 15 at York Racecourse, GB for his breeder Thierry de la Heronnière et al. In Australia, LAURIE once again shone in a handicap race on May, 18 over the 1,200 meters at Charleville.
