G2 1-2-3 for our stallions

Updated: 4 days ago

It was a thrilling finish in the G2-PA The President of the United Arab Emirates Cup at Baden-Baden, Germany on August, 28: EL PASO T crossed the finish line first with a second start in a space of only four days, LIGHTNING THUNDER was back in second with only a neck to spare and DJAFAR finished third by a short head.

Both five-year-old sons of our Haras de Thouars-based sensational sire AL MOURTAJEZ, EL PASO T is own, bred and trained by Gerd Zoetelief, while LIGHTHING THUNDER is a Karin Van Den Bos bred. Third in the podium, DJAFAR is a dual G1-PA-placed son of DAHESS bred by Anthony Bascle.

DAHESS was also represented on August, 28 at Göteborg, Sweden by seven-year-old HIGHL AND QUEEN who was first by the post in the 1,400 meter Emirates Breeding Program race.

September kicked off successfully for AL MAMUN MONLAU with WINDS OF FORTUNE defeating his rivals in the Arabian Racing Organisation Handicap Stakes on September, 2 at Chepstow, UK. Bred by A. Kirshner and Deborah Mihaloff, he recorded a 2-length victory.

Congratulations to all respective connections!
