Our homebred Selenien secured his third career victory in the Prix du Belvédère (1400m, PSF) at Chantilly. Trained by Didier Guillemin and ridden by Cristian Demuro, he showed his class in the closing stages, drawing clear to score by two lengths.
Raised at Haras de Bouquetot, Selenien is by our star stallion Mehmas and out of Hilala, a daughter of Toronado. He holds entries in the Emirates Poule d'Essai des Poulains (May 11) and the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club (June 1).
