ROMANISED continued his strong start at stud with a 1-2 finish in the Prix Pride (2350m) at Machecoul. The filly VISAYA secured her maiden victory for trainer Mathieu Brasme and jockey Yoann Barille, with ROMANISER finishing second, two lengths behind, in the colors of J. Uzel, J.P. Mercier, and J.P. Colin. The duo finished three lengths ahead of the third-placed runner.
VISAYA was bred by Haras de Beauvoir and is out of Visinada, a daughter of Sinndar. ROMANISER, bred by a partnership including Mme A. Choupeault and S. Hébert, is out of the Makfi mare Sula’s Charm.
A dual Group 1-winning miler, ROMANISED landed both the Irish 2000 Guineas and the Prix Jacques le Marois before retiring to stud, where he now stands at Haras de Bouquetot. Congratulations to all connections.
