WITH ZEST became the latest first-crop winner for ROMANISED with a smooth maiden success in the Prix de la Haute Pommeraye at Chantilly on Thursday, pushing his first-crop tally to 21 individual winners and a 37% winners-to-runners ratio. Trained by Mario Baratti for owner-breeder Mr Robert Ng, the consistent filly had previously been placed twice.

Out of the Pivotal mare Allante, WITH ZEST was given a confident ride by Cristian Demuro to score over the 1,600-metre trip.

Her success follows the debut win of two-year-old THE BEST GLORY earlier this week at Tarbes, adding to a productive week for her sire.
