Stakes performances for Olympic Glory & Toronado

Two Stakes performances in two days for our Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY, including a victorious seasonal comeback for JANNAH FLOWER in the Listed Prix Gold River on May, 12 at ParisLongchamp, France. The four-year-old dual Listed winner bred by F. Bermudez showed highly professional and is having the G1 Qatar Prix Royallieu as her main target of the season. Three-year-old WILD GLORIA followed the same path two days later and finished runner-up in the Listed Henket-Stutenpreis over the 1,600 meters of Dusseldorf, Germany on May, 14.

OLYMPIC GLORY also counted on the success of H. Wirth-bred AVELLANEDA on May, 12, the four-year-old defeating her 11 rivals over the 2,400 meters of ParisLongchamp.


New Stakes performance for our Haras de Bouquetot-based TORONADO courtesy of ZOROCAT who finished third in the Listed Scone Equine Luskin Star on May, 14 over the 1,300 meters of Scone, Australia. On the very same day, TEDDY MERCURY crossed the finish line first at Mont Isa, Australia and Howses-Stud bred BEGGARMAN collected his third victory in a handicap race at Chelmsford, UK. On the other side of the Channel sea, Littleton Stud-bred ROCKET DANCER registered his third career success in a handicap race at Beverley on May, 10 while in France, LIGHTED GLORY and TORNADIC were both victorious on May, 13. The first name is a three-year-old filly bred by JBS Invest NV who lost her maiden tag over 2,000 meters at Marseille-Borely while TORNADIC secured a second consecutive win over 1,600 meters at Saint-Cloud for breeder Stowell Hill Ltd. The international round of victories ended up with TORONADO PHANTOM on May, 15 with the four-year-old claiming a new success at Sha Thin, Hong-Kong.


Our homebred LAHAYED won back-to-back at Carcassonne, France over 13 furlongs, under the ride of Samy Le Quilleuc and the training of Jean-Claude Rouget.


Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR celebrated a victorious weekend in France, with two-year-old RIBERA opening the festivities on May, 14 at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat when collecting a second consecutive victory out of three starts for breeders SCEA des Prairies, T. and B. Jeffroy. The following day, three-year-old LILAS DE FRANCE was securing her second success of the year at ParisLongchamp for breeder Haras de L’Hirondelle.


Tally-Ho Stud’s GALILEO GOLD was back to the winners enclosure at Milano, Italy with his three-year-olds, SOPRAN PULCINELLA claiming a success over 1,600 meters on May, 11 and SUNNY GOLD defeating his rivals over 1,200 meters on May, 15.


Duet of winners in a day for Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS with two-year-old PERSIAN FORCE and four-year-old FROG AND TOAD both scoring overseas on May, 14. The first named bred by Tom Lacy expanded his unbeaten record with a second victory at Newbury, while FROG AND TOAD was a second time winner this season at Thirsk for breeders Manister House Stud and K. Fitzpartick. Third hero of the week was four-year-old AQUAMAS who secured a second consecutive success at Musselburgh on May, 9 for breeder Miss Audrey F. Thompson.
