The son of Zoffany, THUNDER MOON, who stands at Haras de Bouquetot, will be represented by his first crop at the upcoming Arqana December Sale. Seven foals of this 2-year-old performer, winner of the National Stakes (Gr.1), will be available for sale.
The first representative, Lot 503 presented by Haras D'Etreham, is a Cold by Scruples (pionneerof the Nile), making him a half brother of Shiffrin, winner of the Prix de Condé (GR.3). The Haras of Bougeauville will present Lot 570, a colt by Abbronzatissima, a daughter of Teofilo x Lia who makes a good impression at a listed level. Meanwhile, Haras de Hoguenet presents Lot 601, a son of Bergamot Orange (War Front). This colt hails from a classic family, with his third dam being Houseproud, winner of the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (Gr.1).
The fillies are not left out and are equally represented. Haras des Loges presents Lot 653, Moofleet (Fammi Sognare by Bertolini), whose close relatives have performed at Group level, including Footsteppy, placed in the Prix des Réservoirs (Gr.3) (descending from the second dam). Haras de Bourgeauville brings Lot 679 to the sale, a filly by Holdbacktheriver, from a line that performs well in black-type. Finally, Arcadia Elevage completes the offering with Lot 765, a daughter of Rebecca’s Filly by Elusive City. This family is notably illustrated by Leaupartie, winner of the Prix de Psyché (Gr.3), (by the second dam Kansa).
