Double of Stakes winners for SHALAA celebrated from his headquarters in Australia at Arrowfield Stud. Juvenile QUANG TRI won impressively the Listed Taj Rossi Series Final over the mile at Flemington, Australia on July, 2 and three-year-old NIGHY ENDEAVOR landed the Listed Derby du Languedoc by 3 lengths in France at Toulouse on June, 28. Bred by Mrs W. Spanner, he became SHALAA’s fifth 2022 Stakes winner from his second crop of three-year-old runners.
Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD congratulated three-year-old OSCULA on her new Stakes performance, the Padraig Williams-bred filly finishing runner-up in the Listed Coral Distaff over the 8 furlongs of Sandown, UK on July, 2. Additional three-year-old winners in the UK included Padraig Williams-bred MARSH BENHAM at Brighton on June, 28 and Tally-Ho Stud-bred MY AMBITION on his seasonal comeback at Newbury on June, 30.
Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS was also honored in the UK with this year’s second consecutive success of DHA LEATH at Roscommon on June, 28 for breeder Bernard Cooke.
Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL and AL WUKAIR had a collection of three-year-old winners. ZELZAL’s PERLE ROUGE secured her third success at Marseille-Borely, France for breeders Mrs ML and M Collet, and J Collet on June, 29.
AL WUKAIR started the month of July with the third consecutive success of KHAMMA at Clairefontaine, France on July, 1st for breeder B. Vitale Brovarone and the victory of LIKE MAGIC at Karlovy Vary in Tcheck Republic.
Haras de Bouquetot-based TORONADO counted on a new international dual of winners on the same day, with three-year-old BRAVE VENTURE crossing the finish line first over the 1,200 meters of Belmont Park, USA on June, 29 and Orchard Thoroughbreds-bred TORONADO GREY scoring at Kempton, UK a few hours later.
OLYMPIC GLORY ended the week with a new win in Italy with the success of MILANOLIGHT at Milano over 2,600 meters on June, 28.
