AMILCARE provided his sire WOODED with a milestone 20th individual winner from his first crop when opening his account in the Prix Jean Mallen, a 2,000m conditions race at Lyon-Parilly on Wednesday. This latest success pushes the young stallion’s strike rate to 37% winners to runners.
Trained by Mario Baratti for Scuderia Scolari and ridden confidently by Maxime Guyon, AMILCARE broke his maiden on his third outing, confirming his earlier placed efforts with a determined performance. Always travelling well, he asserted inside the final furlong to repel Morgana Blue by a length, with Starlord in third.
The February-born colt is out of Montjess (Montjeu). Bred in France by Mathieu Daguzan-Garros, congratulations are extended to the breeder and all connections.
