Standing at Haras de Bouquetot, ZELZAL registered another success with UPPERCUT, a new three-year-old winner who opened his account in the 6f Prix Race And Care at Marseille-Borély, France. Trained by Jean-Claude Rouget and ridden by Cristian Demuro, the colt prevailed on February 16.

Bred by SCEA des Prairies & B. Jeffroy, UPPERCUT is out of Take To Win, a daughter of Sunday Break.

This victory follows that of NORMANJITO, who recorded her second career win and first since relocating to the USA, taking a one-mile Thoroughbred Claiming race at Gulfstream Park, Florida. Trained by Brendan Walsh and ridden by Tyler Gaffalione, she was bred by Élevage Haras de Bourgeauville and is out of Belle Ambre, by Teofilo.

Congratulations to their respective connections!

ZELZAL’s largest crop to date are now two-year-olds of 2025.
