LAITH added a new sophomore victory to ZELZAL's when landing the €55,000 Prix de Marly, a handicap for 3-year-olds over 1,300 metres at ParisLongchamp on Thursday evening.
Trained by Jérôme Reynier for Sangwin Holdings Ltd, the gelding was delivered with perfect timing by Aurélien Lemaitre to score by two and a half lengths, taking his career record to two wins and five placings from ten starts.
Bred by Al Shaqab Racing, LAITH is out of Lucky Lycra, a Group winner by Olympic Glory.
This latest success brings ZELZAL to 57% lifetime winners to runners. Congratulations to his connections!
